Our Monthly Bar Box 8 Ball Tournament is Saturday, July 10th. Entry fee is $35 which includes greens fees. Race to 3 games on the winners side and on the one loss side. The room will open at 2pm for practice. Registration and auction at 3pm. The Tournament starts at 4pm. We'll have great food as always. 25% of the field will be paid. Our Monthly handicapped 9 Ball Tournament is Saturday, May 15th. The event is double elimination, race to handicap, and $250 Added based on a field of 32 players(pro rated after 24 entries)! Entry fee is $35 and pre registration in encouraged. The field always fills early. The room will open at 11:00am for open practice. Registration is at Noon. Draw and auction at 1pm with play beginning immediately after. We'll have great food as always. The top 8 players will be paid (based ob 32). Entry fee is $35 and pre registration in encouraged. The field always fills early. A second prize fund will be available for any player to participate. Pay an additional $15 in entry and that $15 will go into a separate pool. The money in that pool will go to the highest finishing player that participates. If 20 players participate and the highest placing participant finishes 3rd, $300 in the fund will go that player in addition to Tournament Payout and auction! The room will open at 11:00am for open practice. Registration is at Noon. Draw and auction by 1pm with play beginning immediately after. We'll have great food as always. Danny Diliberto beat Rod Neely to take the winner of the winners bracket. Doctor Dan, who earlier fell to Rod in the winners bracket, beat Rod in the losers bracket finals. Doc then proceeded to beat Danny D in the first set to force a race to 2 for 1st place. Danny D won the first game with an incredible 4 ball out and Doctor Dan came back to win the second game displaying some good positioning an excellent shot making. While Danny D was racking for the match game, he asked Doc if he wanted play for the whole thing or split. I would have loved to see the final game, because those boys can really play. Oh well, maybe next time.

Bison's own Dan Kolacz wins the USBA qualifier at the Pendennis Club in Louisville, KY. Dan qualified for free entry to the USBA Nationals in Tacoma, WA February 17 – 21, 2010. Great job Dan!
People of Praise Men’s Night out at Bison Billiards. 22 men from the Buffalo Branch of The People of Praise enjoyed a competitive evening shooting pool at Bison Billiards. We held a -draw your partner, race to two, single elimination, eight ball tournament. Greg Miller’s Pizza Factory supplied the pizza and wings. A great time was had by all.
